I played it My Way…
Another video. When you watch it, it may seem like it is a goodbye. It is not. I just like the song 🙂

inIn the past month I haven’t been ingame much. I love the world, it’s still great. Love the people. But the game itself… meh.. Zunday is level 98 now, and I so dislike questing in the high levels. I don’t think she will be 105 soon (if ever). The quests are all about fighting, just a few ‘human interest’ quests. I did dailies just to level up my LI legacies … but for what? I became 105 with a lesser weapon. Also, friends are leaving the game. And for me the social aspect of LotRO is the most important factor.
So… I don’t know. Maybe I will be back. I will be ingame from time to time to pay upkeep. And who knows what will happen.
Another thing I love doing is making and editing videos. And for that I will get online too. To shoot footage. The last video I did was few days ago. Together with Irissina.
This is the result:
Cya friends!

inA while ago I wrote a review about the Songbook plugin. I only told the basics there. In this tutorial I tell you how to play with a band.

inSince I began to play music I have played strings. First the lute, and after I heard the sound of the harp I switched to it. Yesterday my kinnie Belladawna needed a victim on whom to practice mentorship. I volunteered and she taught me how to play the bagpipes.
And I absolutely love it. The sound isn’t very like bagpipes I think (it’s more like a harpsichord) – but I still like it, and it looks great.
Only thing, I had arranged all my music for strings.
So today I got some old Celtish / Scottish song files, and arranged them for bagpipes. A little less harpsichord now. And while I was at it, I made arrangements for more instruments. Now I only need to form a band to play them 🙂

inWhen you are looking for an ABC-file but can’t find it, you can always ask me. But, you can also make it with Maestro.
With this program you convert MIDI-files into ABC’s.
MIDI’s you can find allover the net. Just Google for MIDI and the song you want, and often you will find it. Two sites I like to use are:
Sometimes you have to pay for a MIDI. Up to you whether you do that or Google some more. I also advise you to download a few MIDI-files from the song you want, some just ain’t good.
And then of course, you need Maestro. You can download it here.
In this tutorial I will show you the basics of Maestro. For one instrument.

inAfter seven years I finally decided to play some music in LotRO. I always thought it was kinda difficult, but to my surprise the basics are very easy. I am not gonna talk about playing in a band, but just play like a solo bard 🙂
Note: If you don’t want to use plugins you can play the songs manually. How to do that is explained at the bottom of the post.

inYesterday evening I attended the first (I think) bandconcert at Bree stage. It was great. An hour an a half of great music, performed in a great way.
THANKS BUGGINSES BAND!
