Visiting my house on the Bullroarer Beta server, I saw all new vegetation. I guess these are the newly added frills, as mentioned in the Update 18.2 Beta Release Notes (Eriador has newly added frills. You can turn frills on and off in your advanced graphics options panel. This includes all kinds of ground-cover (grasses, reeds, wildflowers, etc).)
These screenshots are from Bullroarer (Raebidus), and Evernight (Zunday).

Oh my, that looks so exciting! I was hoping for more decoration hooks in our gardens as well, but this is the best next thing.
I don’t reckon you want to hop by the Bree-land homesteads and take a screenie for me of Long Street 6?

Inside there are more hooks, dunno about outside really. Hahaha… Since you are Dutch, and an artist and a fellow blogger, I will 🙂 (Cute princess eyes helped too)

yes, some areas are indeed very nice.. but, as the before/after pics in blogs & forum posts have shown, other areas now look overdone, almost gaudy (and definitely not like Tolkien’s own drawings) – Trollshaws particularly comes to mind. If the beta frills go live, let’s just hope they don’t make Eriador as laggy as MT — remember? it was the fast horses that did that there? (Maybe the frills being optional will take care of that!) LOL

I didn’t see any toggle options in options yet. Maybe not there yet, or I didn’t look good 😛 But you are right (I think I’ve said that before, hahaha), rather better performance than more flowers.

Oh dear, I *like* the Trollshaws. I surely hope they haven’t ruined the feels of some older areas with these changes. They are close to my heart.
